Dr. Drozd’s research interests include 19th-century Russian literature, Chernyshevskii, old Russian literature, Russian history, Czech language and literature, East European history, and Slavic folklore. His current research focuses on Czech-Russian literary interrelations.
Dr. Drozd teaches first-year Russian (RUS 101 & 102), second-year Russian (RUS 201 & 202), Russian Phonetics, Business Russian, Russian Culture, Russian Folklore, 19th Century Russian Literature, 20th Century Russian Literature, Dostoevsky, and Tolstoy.
