Ana Belén Álvarez presented at the 55th Northeast MLA Annual Convention, which took place March 7-10 in Boston, Massachusetts. She participated in the round table entitled The intimate in Spanish and Latin American literature and cinema. Her presentation, “La intimidad quebrada: violencia de género en Desnuda de Jordi Sierra i Fabra,” was based on the dissertation she is working on, and focused on intimacy broken by gender violence.
