On the weekend of November 9th-11th, four current graduate students of Spanish and one former student presented at multiple conferences.
Alejandro Botia and Russell Galloway presented at this year’s meeting of the Midwest Association for Latin American Studies (MALAS) at Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama.
Ana Belén Álvarez and Sarah Valentín presented alongside former student Bryan Winkler at the III Seminario de experiencias prácticas en didáctica del español como primera lengua, lengua extranjera y de herencia. This year’s conference was organized by California State University, Universidad de Salamanca, and Universidad Autónoma de Puebla in collaboration with the Instituto Cervantes de Los Ángeles and Klett World Languages.
