Dr. Regina Range co-organizes the Vienna In Hollywood Symposium in Los Angeles, California

The Academy Museum, USC Libraries and Max Kade Institute presents a symposium on the influence and impact of Austrians on the Hollywood Film Industry. MLC’s Associate Professor of German, Dr. Regina Range, and co-organizer of the symposium, introduces part of her book project in a presentation titled “The City of Angels through the Eyes of Female Austrian-Jewish Scriptwriters” on December 10th. The symposium also kicks off a a film series at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures featuring movies by some of these influential émigré artists during Hollywood’s studio system.
