Guest Lecture by Dr. George Giatsis: “Mens sana in corpore sano: A healthy mind in a healthy body”

A Guest Lecture by Prof. George Giatsis from Aristotle University will take place September 27th at 4:00-5:30 pm, 354 ten Hoor. Giatsis has a doctoral on the biomechanics of volleyball; he is a Kinesiology professor at AUTh and very successful coach of Olympian athletes. He comes to us as an Erasmus scholar (a European program similar to the Fulbright), visiting the UA for an exchange of ideas and methods with his peers. Lecture by Dr. Kirk Summers on Calvin at the Quincentennial celebration of the Reformation

The Quincentennial celebration of the Reformation is October 30, Moody Music Bldg. Main Auditorium at 6pm. Dr. Kirk Summers will be presenting on Calvin. There will be music, food, an exhibit, and short presentations on Roman Catholicism at the eve of the Reformation, Luther, Calvin, the Radical Reformation, the English Reformation. All are encouraged to attend this special event!
