Michaela is a GTA and a native German from the Cologne area, and in the German philology track. She already completes a Master of Education from the RWTH Aachen. Currently she is completing her M.A. thesis on “Using Cognitive and Usage-Based Linguistic Principles in an Approach to Teaching German.” She will be applying to Ph.D. programs in Linguistics to continue with her studies. In her free time she enjoys show acrobatics, and she is a member and coach of a group in Germany. This semester she will be teaching GN 102.
