Research Interests

Neo-identities, otherness and popular music as tools of the subaltern subjects in the fin-de-siècle literature. Caribbean expansion and/or Caribbean reinterpretation: Venezuela, Colombia and Panama within Caribbean literature. Popular culture and polyphony in the Caribbean.
