Sunshine 2.0 is a professional traveling theatre troupe based at Rochester Institute of Technology’s National Technical Institute for the Deaf (NTID) in Rochester, NY.
The performance is presented by both hearing and deaf actors in voice and in American Sign Language, accessible to all audience members and covers subjects for people of all ages.
Sunshine 2.0 provides educational content and demonstrates the special qualities of the performing arts in Deaf Theatre, while introducing audiences to the experience of deaf people. Audiences will have a rare opportunity to see an exciting art form that is not only entertaining, but also introduces them to the world of deafness and creates an impression that will last a lifetime.
