Two University of Alabama Honors college students have been selected to receive Critical Languages Scholarships from the U.S. State Department. Congratulations to Emily Simon, a junior majoring in international studies and Spanish, and Jason Arterburn,  a sophomore studying in mathematics and interdisciplinary studies with an emphasis in East Asia. http://uanews.ua.edu/2013/04/ua-students-earn-language-scholarships-from-state-department/

Jessica Jacob has been selected as one of the two 2013 Outstanding Masters Graduate Students by the University of Alabama Graduate Student Association. Both recipients will be honored on Friday, April 5th at 1:00 pm at the Tapping on the Mound Ceremony. Congratulations Jessica for your achievement! Keep up the good work!
